SHANAGARRY ICA

Shanagarry ICA Guild, whose members come from the general Shanagarry, Garryvoe and Churchtown South area, recently celebrated its 21st birthday with a dinner at Ballymaloe House. This was a lovely stylish occasion with a gathering of present and past members, plenty of reminiscing and laughs, helped along by a DVD compiled from our photographs of the past two decades - the way we were!

In September, as part of the celebrations, 14 members of the Guild had a trip to Rome, where we visited the must see sights and holy places, did some shopping and generally relaxed and had a lovely break in the welcome sunshine.

The Guild meet on the 2nd Monday of every month at 8.15pm in the GAA Rooms in Shanagarry with a varied programme of events. We always welcome new members to join us and would love to see some new faces in the New Year. We plan to start 2009 with a visit to the June Rodgers Show in Silver Springs on Women’s Little Christmas 6th January.

For further details about the Guild contact PRO Rosalie Dunne.

We wish all our members and friends a very Happy Christmas.
